Medium clay drums, some in solid colors and other in pretty fades. Traditional to the Middle East, Eastern Europe and North Africa, these drums are called 'doumbek' or 'darbooka' and offer musical tones that are distinctive and delightful. Plus they look cool!

Wheel-thrown earthenware; each one is unique. Medium Heatherdrums are usually 15" high and 9.5" diameter. I call this the “backpack” size because it’s small and easy to carry but still offers a good amount of playability. Finished with goatskin rawhide and waxed cotton lacing.
