 About your hosts

Laura Swartzbaugh, CEO of Laura Scout Coaching, helps people shut up their inner critic and build a life they actually want. Her superpowers include her intuitive, lightning-quick coaching and her belief that self trust can save the world. She’s on a mission to help people say goodbye to the lives they think they should have and create the ones they authentically desire. Because human brains are like puppies (they need clear, firm, & loving guidance), she teaches simple tools based on neuroplasticity to change habitual thinking. Change is much easier when your inner chatter is quiet & you’ve created new ways of thinking & feeling. After just a single session, clients feel empowered, motivated, and find themselves taking concrete action even if they’ve felt stalled for months.

Heather McQueen is an accomplished ceramic artist, known for ceramic percussion instruments and expertise with the potter’s wheel. A vessel sculptor at heart, her work elevates spaces and gourmet tables, as well as graces stages and drum circles worldwide. She enjoys inspiring others through her work, and enjoys seeing the impact a regular creative practice can bring to a person’s life. With a reputation as an engaging and fun facilitator, she excels at teaching and sharing her creativity. Heather's claywork has been published ("From Mud to Music", "500 Raku") and featured in a nationally televised promo (US Cellular). She is a graduate of the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, and maintains an independent ceramic studio in Chicago.
